Biography

"When you find yourself in a foreign country, you would recognize an equal of yours in a thousand.

This is exactly what happened to us. Five years ago.

After a programme “all Schubert”, past a few days, we rang up and simply said to ourselves: we want to play together.

And in that very moment, all began.

At the beginning, it was already beautiful: we “walked together”, looking all around. And, little by little, our used landscapes – all the three of us had already played in trio – began to change. Or rather, it was like changing glasses. The musical notes, and the words used to describe them, became more and more visionary; the time of rehearsals appeared like “suspended”; we could take the liberty, among us, to say things that only intimate friends – or perhaps brothers – allow themselves.
Mauro, only child. Angelo and Francesco, brothers.
His brothers.

And then, came the concert in London, and afterwards  Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, South America, the “Sala Verdi” in Milan, the “Unione Musicale” in Turin, Vicenza, the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, as well Piacenza, Brescia, Verona, Lucca, the Teatro Nuovo in Udine, the Quirinale, the Beethoven’s “Triple” …
And the CDs: Beethoven and Brahms, the entire Martucci.

Because: Yes! It was unavoidable, that these guys came to meet."
